MEET KELLY
Collaborative, evidence-based psychiatric care that helps you feel heard and understood.
Kelly was drawn to psychiatry through her deep interest in human nature and a desire to better understand the thoughts, behaviors, feelings, and perceptions that shape each person’s experience. Over the past eight years, she has worked across diverse psychiatric settings, caring for patients of different ages, diagnoses, and backgrounds.
Her experience has led her to work with individuals navigating ADHD, depression, anxiety, and OCD, as well as young adults, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and postpartum mothers and parents.
Kelly’s goal with every patient is to create a relaxed, supportive environment where they feel heard, understood, and empowered to make informed decisions about their care. She believes there is nothing more rewarding than helping patients make progress in ways that are meaningful to them.

Working with Kelly
Patients can expect Kelly to bring a collaborative, thoughtful presence to each appointment, creating a relaxed but professional environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and having honest conversations about their care.
She takes the time to educate patients on their options and works alongside them to develop treatment plans that fit their individual needs, preferences, and lifestyle. Her goal is to make sure patients feel heard, informed, and involved in the decisions that shape their care.
Kelly believes mental health care should be both evidence-based and personal. She brings clinical knowledge and a genuine curiosity about each patient’s experience while leaving room for humor and light-heartedness along the way.

More about your mental health professional

Professional background
Kelly’s background in both philosophy and nursing gives her a unique perspective on mental health, combining thoughtful exploration with clinical knowledge.
After eight years working in psychiatric settings, Kelly has developed a strong appreciation for individualized care. She believes patients should have a clear understanding of their options and a voice in deciding what works best for them, rather than feeling like treatment is something simply being done to them.
Educational background
Kelly earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Arizona, following her Bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and Philosophy from the University of Delaware.
Her education across both disciplines, combined with eight years of experience in psychiatric settings, has shaped the way she approaches mental health care. She brings clinical expertise alongside a genuine curiosity about the individual experiences and perspectives that make each patient’s care unique.
Outside of the office
When not providing psychiatric care to Colorado patients
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys staying active, traveling, cooking new recipes, and discovering the newest restaurants in town.
At home, she loves spending time with her husband, their two young boys, and their two Pomeranians. She is also passionate about women’s health and empowerment, volunteering with children from disadvantaged backgrounds, and learning about different religions and cultures.
Her guiding philosophy is simple: “If you like it, I love it; if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.”
