Mariah was drawn to psychiatry through her background in neuroscience and critical care, where she saw firsthand how deeply the brain and body are connected. Her experiences sparked a passion for prevention and a desire to help people address their mental health before reaching a point of crisis.
Her passion for understanding the whole person has led her to work with individuals navigating ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, and postpartum mental health concerns.
Mariah’s goal with every patient is to create a nonjudgmental space where they feel heard, informed, and confident in their care.

Professional background
Mariah’s path to psychiatry began with a fascination in neuroscience and a desire to better understand the connection between the brain, body, and mental health.
Her experience in neuroscience and critical care deepened her passion for prevention and thoughtful, person-centered care, inspiring her to help patients better understand their mental health and feel confident in making informed decisions about their treatment.
Educational background
Mariah earned her Master of Science in Nursing in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from George Washington University, where she developed a strong clinical foundation in psychiatric care.
Her academic and clinical background in neuroscience, critical care, and psychiatry gives her a well-rounded understanding of the connection between the brain, body, and mental health.
Outside of the office
When not providing psychiatric care to Colorado patients
Outside of her sessions with patients, Mariah enjoys spending her free time skiing, exploring new recipes, thrift shopping, and attending live music.
She balances her time in the mountains and around the city with quieter moments at home with her beloved dog, Luigi.
Originally from the East Coast, she also enjoys traveling back to visit friends and family — and never passes up an opportunity to enjoy some blue crabs with Old Bay.
