For Juliane Hayashi, nursing was always more than just a job — to her, it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
With a background in labor and delivery, antepartum, and outpatient surgery, Juliane understands how deeply mental and physical health are connected. She brings that insight into her psychiatric practice, ensuring that every patient receives care tailored to both their emotional and overall well-being.
Juliane earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University, where she developed the skills and expertise to provide patient-centered care.
Since then, this psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner has built a career rooted in compassionate care, open communication, and collaboration, and her past work experience led her to pursue a higher level of education in psychiatry.
As an Arizona- and Colorado-licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner, she believes in the power of education, not only for her patients but also for their caregivers, ensuring that every person involved in a patient’s well-being feels informed and supported.
During consultations, Juliane takes the time to truly listen — helping patients understand their conditions, explore their goals, and develop individualized treatment plans that align with their needs. She regularly engages in continuing education to stay up to date with the latest advancements in psychiatric care, reinforcing her commitment to providing the most effective, evidence-based support possible.
Juliane knows that no two people experience mental health conditions the same way. That’s why she takes an individualized approach, working closely in partnership with each patient to develop treatment plans that align with their needs, preferences, experiences, and goals.
Her mission is to ensure every patient feels their voice is heard. Providing compassionate and nonjudgmental support, she fosters a sense of comfort and safety.
When she’s not caring for patients, Juliane loves traveling, going to concerts, trying new foods, and spending time with family and friends.
Music — especially Taylor Swift’s — always lifts her mood, and she’s just as dedicated to helping her patients feel their best. Juliane is here to help you process the past, tackle the present, and step confidently into your next era.
This Arizona and Colorado psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner is also in an exciting new chapter of her own — married to her childhood sweetheart, they’re preparing to welcome their first baby! Their new little one will soon join their beloved fur babies: a calico cat and an orange tabby.
Her compassion extends well beyond providing psychiatric care. She’s a dedicated animal welfare advocate with a special passion for no-kill shelters and cat sanctuaries.
Because whether it’s people or pets, she believes everyone deserves care, kindness, and a place to feel safe.
For Juliane, mental healthcare is more than just providing treatment — it’s about working alongside patients to build a path toward improved well-being together. She wholeheartedly enjoys the process of creating personalized treatment plans, setting meaningful goals, and celebrating milestones — big and small — with each of her patients.
She also understands that sometimes life just feels heavy. In those moments, this Arizona- and Colorado-licensed mental health professional believes everyone deserves a comforting, judgment-free space to share challenges, express concerns, and receive care that meets them where they are.
Your path to feeling better can start now.
