Brent Whitley
Brent received a Bachelor of Science in molecular biology from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. Then, he went to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he obtained two master’s degrees, one in chemistry and the other in nursing. He is fully licensed to practice as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and advanced practice registered nurse (APRN).
Before opening his private practice, Brent gained years of experience providing psychiatric care in multiple settings, including an inpatient crisis unit and as a case manager and advocate for patients.

Kara Shrader earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, graduating summa cum laude and as class valedictorian.
